Door County Brewing Co. Releases Belgian Pale Ale With Apricots
Tuesday, March 28, 2017

Baileys Harbor, WI – Door County Brewing Co. announced today the release of “Apricot Dude Ranch,” a Belgian pale ale brewed with apricot. This is the first release in a set of brand new seasonal beers to be released in 2017 and the first of four labels designed by Milwaukee artist, Francisco Ramirez.

“We’re very excited for the first large release of apricot dude ranch,” said Head Brewer Danny McMahon. “It was a staple in our tap room last summer, and the feedback from customers was great. For this beer we took a simple yet very delicious Belgian style pale ale and lightly hopped it with Germen Hüll melon hops before aging it on nearly 550 lbs of apricots. The beer comes in at only 5% ABV, is very dry with some complex pear and citrus yeast esters, then follows through with a delicate note of apricot. I anticipate this being a near perfect beer for the spring season.”

“We are excited to get to work with Francisco since we’ve been big fans of his for a
long time and we wanted to do labels that were a little more ‘out there,’” said founder John McMahon. “In addition to apricot dude ranch, Francisco will be doing three more upcoming brand labels for new seasonal releases in 2017.”

Apricot Dude Ranch will be available in bottles and on draft in both WI and MN markets on April 1st.
