Badger State Brewing Co. Wins Wisconsin Ale Brewery of the Year at 2017 New York International Beer Competition

GREEN BAY - March 17, 2017 - Badger State Brewing Co. has been named the Wisconsin Ale Brewery of the Year at the 2017 New York International Beer Competition. In addition, Badger State was also awarded four individual medals for both core and seasonal beers.

The brands awarded medals include: Walloon Witbier - Gold Medal Belgian and French origin beers, Bunyan Badger Brown Ale- Silver Medal British origin beers, Dubious Ruffian Stout - Bronze Medal Irish origin beers, and Chile Gordo Smoked Jalapeno Porter - Bronze Medal Hybrid/Mixed style beers.

The New York International Beer Competition is the only international beer competition with trade only judges from top to bottom that consist of people who are buyers from top retail stores, restaurant owners, beverage directors, distributors and importers.
