Annual Ice Cold Beer Festival Donation
Thursday, March 13, 2014
The 16th Annual Ice Cold Beer Festival, hosted by the Wisconsin Brewers Guild and Minocqua Brewing Company, was held downtown Minocqua, Saturday, Jan. 11. In efforts with numerous local sponsors, the event itself helped raise $5,000 for Ministry Home Care - Dr. Kate Hospice. The event this past January was moved outside for the first time ever, in order to increase capacity. Over the course of 16 years, the event has been able to donate more than $50,000 toward hospice programs, like Dr. Kate, through Ministry Home Care. Pictured (1. to right) are Bo Bélanger – head brewer/owner of South Shore Brewery in Ashland and president of the Wisconsin Brewers Guild, Mike Zamzow – co-owner of Bull Falls Brewery in Wausau and Wisconsin Brewers Guild board member, Dan White, Dustin White and Ryan White – owners of Minocqua Brewing Company, Jennifer LaPorte-McCanles of Ministry Home Care, Dr. Kate Hospice and Dennis Kohl, beverage manager at Trig's Cellar 70 of Minocqua.
